Ben
Qualifications
Ben Cunningham has over 10 years of experience providing Hand Therapy services including 3 years working in the United Kingdom at the Queen Victoria Hospital and the past 8 years at The Alfred Hospital in
Melbourne.
Since graduation in 1996 Ben has been working in the specialist area of Hand Therapy and recently completed his Masters of Clinical Science (Hand & Upper Limb) through Curtin University. Ben’s
special interest is hand trauma and he has led the way in the treatment of complex intra-articular fractures in the hand, presenting at national and international conferences. Ben teaches at both an
undergraduate and post-graduate level through Monash University.
A co-founder of Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists, Ben strives to provide the highest possible level of care for all patients with a variety of
injuries, both traumatic and acquired.
Melanie
Qualifications
Melanie McCulloch has had a broad range of experience in her 11 years since graduating as an Occupational Therapist. Melanie worked and travelled in Europe for 6 years, working in the
UK in the specialist area of Hand Therapy.
Prior to returning to Australia Melanie completed her post-graduate certificate in Hand Therapy at Derby University.
Since her return Melanie has held senior Hand Therapy positions at both Box Hill Hospital and Southern Health before focusing her attention on private practice.
As a co-founder of Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists, Melanie is committed to utilizing her extensive experience to provide patients with a high level of care.
Emmeline
Qualifications
Emmeline Fooks has been practicing as an Occupational Therapist since graduating from La Trobe University in 1998. Seven of her postgraduate years have been working as a Hand Therapist, predominately at The
Alfred hospital.
Emmeline has specialist experience in burns and was a member of The Alfred hospital burns unit for five years. Emmeline has presented at numerous national conferences and lectures at La Trobe University.
Emmeline joined Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists two years ago and her interests include Dupuytren’s contracture and wrist injuries.
Emmeline is keen to pursue further research into these areas in the future as a member of the Resolve Hand Therapy team.
Zoe
Qualifications
Zoe Milner graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2001 and has since had experience practicing both in Australia and the United Kingdom. She is a current OT Australia member and an associate member of the
Australian Hand Therapy Association.
Zoe has had experience working in trauma, neurosurgery and Hand Therapy at Southern Health and commenced working with Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists in February
2007.
Zoe will be commencing her Masters of Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University in 2008 with a focus on Hand Therapy and arthritis.
Haley
Qualifications
Since graduating, Haley has taken up a position with Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists. She has had a passion for Hand Therapy throughout her years of study and has gained valuable experience working in both
the public setting at The Alfred Hospital, and a private setting at St Vincent’s Hospital during this time.
Haley is keen to commence further study in the area of Hand Therapy and work towards becoming a Certified Hand Therapist.
Haley’s assistance will enable Resolve Hand Therapy Specialists to increase our research and provide better patient care.
Did you know?
